Apply for community grant: Academic project (gpu)
The aim of our project, AvatarArtist: Open-Domain 4D Avatarization, is to transform an open-domain input portrait into a 4D digital avatar with high fidelity, temporal consistency, and expressive appearance. This is the official implementation of our CVPR 2025 paper.
Unlike previous 4D avatarization methods, AvatarArtist: Open-Domain 4D Avatarization supports diverse and stylized avatar renderings, including Lego, Ghibli-inspired, and 3D cartoon styles, enabling a new level of creativity in 4D avatar generation.
We are eager to showcase our progress to the public and provide an interactive demo for the AIGC community.
However, AvatarArtist: Open-Domain 4D Avatarization cannot run on CPU-only devices, due to the high computational demands of diffusion-based 4D generation and motion-aware rendering. GPU acceleration is required to execute the inference pipeline. Without GPU support, the system fails to run effectively, making it impossible to provide a usable demo experience.
Therefore, we would like to apply for a community GPU grant to enable public access to our system and allow users in the community to try out AvatarArtist interactively.

Hi @KumaPower , we have assigned t4-medium to this Space for now as this Space was using it. But it would be great if this Space can run on ZeroGPU. Could you take a look at the docs and see if your Space can run on it?
@KumaPower
Thanks for your question. At the moment, it's simply not possible to change user quotas. Even HF staff are subject to the same quota limits.
But there might be some misunderstanding. Just to clarify, the ZeroGPU quota is assigned per user, not per Space. Logged-in users have a quota of 5 min/day, and Pro users have 25 min/day. So, it should be fine most of the time. If someone wants to go beyond their quota, they can just duplicate the Space and assign a paid GPU to it.
